The limits of ebooks in early 2010

I’m on record as being an eager purchaser of ebooks. But there are limits.

This week I received a shipment from Amazon containing The Art of Scalability and The Failure of Risk Management. I anticipate both books being read, re-read and referred to.

I’m quite comfortable reading a book through once on my iPhone. But when it comes to re-reading or referencing, I want my book printed on paper.

I wonder whether any event in the next few hours will change this evaluation?
