General Manager IT at Geekdom

I've been working closely with Geekdom over the last three months on some special projects. During that time, I've grown increasingly excited about the vision and direction of the company. So last week it was a real pleasure to reach agreement to join the management team.

Today I began serving Geekdom as its General Manager IT.

It was an extremely exciting day, filled with:

• Management meetings.
• Understanding the current status of software development.
• Beginning to meet with each member of the technical team.
• Developing budgetary and operational plans.
• Putting in place the foundations necessary to drive a long-term plan.

The day was a lot of fun, and I'm absolutely determined to help create an environment that publishes excellent software.
